Preparations are gaining momentum for the 17th CISM World Military Golf Championship in Dhaka, as a key coordination visit marks an important milestone.

Major Cameron Lowdon, President of the CISM Golf Sport Committee, led high-level meetings with the Local Organizing Committee and military authorities to finalize operational planning ahead of the event.

A symbolic moment highlighted the visit, as the CISM flag was officially handed over to Air Commodore Masud, confirming Bangladesh’s role as host nation.

The delegation also assessed the Kurmitola Golf Club, which is set to welcome military golfers from around the world — with strong confidence in its readiness.

With excellent cooperation and engagement on the ground, everything is on track for a world-class championship.

Players have been grouped in threes with tee times starting from 07:30, alternating between the 1st and 10th tees to keep the field moving efficiently across both nines. Full tee times are available on the live Scoreboard's Tee Times tab.

The Local Rules bulletin confirms out-of-bounds markings along the course perimeter and a designated drop zone at the par-3 5th hole for balls finding the water hazard. Delegations are encouraged to review the bulletin in full via the Notice Board before their first round.
